The Sustainability Leadership Programme for the Green Economy is tailored for middle management spearheading sustainability initiatives within their organizations, aims to enable integration of sustainability initiatives and practices into their business model through workforce transformation. This course offers a comprehensive 2-day classroom training with, a learning journey, 2 coaching sessions and a Community of Practice (COP).Participants will delve into key aspects of sustainability through use cases and a learning journey to explore topics such as climate change, Sustainability Development Goals (SDG), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosure, sustainability reporting.
What You'll Learn
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Learn about the science of climate change, sustainability and United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
Understand carbon markets, carbon management strategies and Greenhouse Gases (GHG) Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 accounting.
Understand the principles of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) framework which can be adopted by the companies.
Conduct materiality assessments, identify the target audiences and engage stakeholders for ESG reporting.
Learn about the sustainability reporting and disclosure frameworks.
Understand the requirement of Climate Disclosure using International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) framework and other frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Taskforce for Climate"related Financial Disclosure (TCFD).

Minimum Entry Requirement
