Profile
After the course, learners should be able to:
- Analyse process optimisation techniques based on existing technologies (LO1)
- Select appropriate techniques and approaches for energy reuse and recovery (LO2)
- Adopt methods to enhance performance (LO3)
What You'll Learn
Being able to recover and reuse energy is a major part of optimising energy management and enhancing environmental performance. Learners will need to know fundamental practices such as the recovery and reuse of thermal energy using pinch analysis and the recovery of heat at low temperatures to manage and improve energy consuming units and processes. They will also need to know industry best practices or systematic procedures in energy management and environmental performance of energy systems.
