Students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to solve problems using a key-value data structure, a multi-dimensional or tabular data structure and a tree data structure. Students will also be introduced to the object-oriented approach to designing and writing programs beyond the procedural or imperative approach.

Minimum Entry Requirement
O Levels
At least three (3) 'O' Level passes in the following subjects:
o English Language (EL1 or EL2) Grade 1 "“ 7
o Any Science subject Grade 1 "“ 6
o Any one (1) relevant subject subject Grade 1 "“ 6 *
And at least one (1) year relevant work experience
NITEC
- GPA ≥ 3.5
OR
- GPA ≥ 3.0 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Higher NITEC
- GPA ≥ 2.0
OR
- GPA ≥ 1.5 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least two (2) years of relevant working
experience
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) (Level ≥ 6) may be accepted as equiv
alent GCE 'O' Level English Language and Mathematics requirements.
