The Post-Diploma Certificate in Practice of Mental Health Nursing course will offer the following modules:
(1) Advanced Medical-Surgical Nursing Clinical Practice 1 (200 Hours)
(2) Advanced Medical-Surgical Nursing Clinical Practice 2 (200 hours)

What You'll Learn
At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:
(1) Provide appropriate nursing care with the multidisciplinary healthcare team for clients in various acute, rehabilitation, primary health, community, intermediate and long-term care (ILTC), psychogeriatric, and special care mental health setting using appropriate nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in a multidisciplinary approach;
(2) Demonstrate competence in essential mental health nursing skills following criteria specified in the competency assessment rubrics; and
(3) Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking in relation to the care of clients and clinical context.

Minimum Entry Requirement
- Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
- Singapore Nursing Board registration;
- 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
