Post-Diploma Certificate in Practice of Gerontology Nursing (PDC2 of Specialist Diploma in Nursing (Gerontology) aims to prepare the learners in Gerontology Nursing through clinical practice.

The course is catered to registered nurses meeting the specific minimum entry requirements. Attending trainees are able to provide specialised nursing care to older adults.

The course will be offered part-time over 52 weeks, with lessons held once a week (6 hours/week). Clinical practice comprises 200 hours of on-the-job training (OJT).Â

Minimum Entry Requirement

The admission requirements are:

For Non Work-Study Programme Participants

• A registered nurse with a Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• At least 1 year's post-registration experience with a minimum of 6 months in the discipline of study.
• Supported by his/her employer
