Post-Diploma Certificate in Practice of ENT Nursing (PDC2 of Specialist Diploma in Nursing (Ear, Nose and Throat) aims to prepare the learners in the following:

provide learners with the knowledge and skills to assess and identify problems associated with oral cavity and throat structures and the management and care of clients, including children.
provide the knowledge and skills to assess and identify significant problems associated with head and neck non-neoplastic and neoplastic diseases. It also enables for the learner to apply the knowledge and skills in management, care and rehabilitation of ENT clients with complex needs.
provide the learner with the opportunity to integrate theory into practice in a variety of ENT settings. The learners will utilize the problem-solving approach in the assessment, planning and delivery of nursing care to the ENT clients as well as develop analytical and critical thinking through reflective practice.

What You'll Learn

Post-Diploma Certificate in Practice of ENT Nursing (PDC2 of Specialist Diploma in Nursing (Ear, Nose and Throat) has a total of 155 training hours and covers the following modules:

Oral Cavity and Throat Disorders (30 hrs)
Non-Neoplastic and Neoplastic Head and Neck Diseases (45 hrs)
ENT Nursing Clinical Practice (80 hrs)

Minimum Entry Requirement

A Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification
Registered nurses with valid practising certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
Registered nurses with one-year post-registration experience and a minimum of 6 months of the discipline of study.
