The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care) course will offer the following modules:
(1) Advanced Critical Care Nursing Clinical Practice 1 (200 hours)
(2) Advanced Critical Care Nursing Clinical Practice 2 (200 hours)

What You'll Learn
At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:
(1) Provide evidence-based nursing care for clients with life threatening or life limiting illnesses in palliative care settings in acute and community hospitals, hospice and home palliative care services using appropriate nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team;
(2) Demonstrate competence in essential critical care skills in complex problems associated complex multisystem dysfunctions in intensive care settings following criteria specified in the competency assessment rubrics; and
(3) Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking in relation to client and clinical context.
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
- Singapore Nursing Board registration;
- 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
