Post-Diploma Certificate in Performance and Compensation Management is part of Specialist Diploma in Human Resource Management.
This course consists of 135 hours of training and the following modules:
- Employment Law (30 Hours)
- Employee Relations Management (30 Hours)
- Performance Management (30 Hours)
- Strategic Compensation Management (45 Hours)
What You'll Learn
This programme seeks to provide opportunities for adult learners who are either currently holding HR jobs or considering a future HR career progression to enhance their skills.
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Apply key employment legislation in Singapore and maintain healthy labour-management relations within organisations
- Measure and develop the performance of individuals within an organization and employ coaching to direct employee behaviour
- Distinguish and evaluate the different compensation frameworks, reward systems and benefits used by organisations to remunerate employees
Minimum Entry Requirement
Applicants for the course should possess a diploma from a local polytechnic or degree with minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in a related field. Holders of other equivalent academic qualification from foreign institutions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or proficiency test.
