Service Experience Design, an increasingly prominent field, emphasizes thoughtful experiences through a comprehensive and systematic approach. This interdisciplinary practice seeks to train individuals, whether from design or non-design backgrounds, to become Design Enablers for the future workforce.
What You'll Learn
Post-Diploma Certificate in Customer Focused Innovation (Part of Specialist Diploma in Service Experience Design and Innovation) will provide learners:
- an overview of translating Business Organisation goals and objectives for the marketplace.
- the ability to perform naturalistic and participatory observation study methods to gain deep understanding of the customer behaviour and to develop deep understanding towards customers.
- the knowledge and application of Design Thinking techniques and tactics in solving problems and providing solutions used by service designers today.
- an overview of the User-Centric Design principles as part of the studio practice.
Minimum Entry Requirement
A diploma from a local polytechnic in any relevant disciplines.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on:
  (i) Evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience; or
 (ii) Supporting evidence of competency readiness.Â
Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test(s). The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
