The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Paediatrics) course will offer the following modules:
(1) Evidence-Based Practice (45 hours)
(2) Advanced Nursing Care of Children and Adolescents 1 (60 hours)
(3) Advanced Nursing Care of Children and Adolescents 2 (60 hours)

What You'll Learn
At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:
(1) Describe the services and resources available in acute and community settings in relation to the models of integrated care for the children and adolescences with chronic illness requiring long term care;
(2) Apply evidence in paediatrics nursing in the development of paediatrics nursing practices using principles of evidence-based practice and appropriate appraisal framework; and
(3) Develop care plans for children and adolescent with altered health status involving different body systems in accordance with clinical treatment guidelines.
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
- Singapore Nursing Board registration;
- 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
