- Recognize the role of microbes in beauty and in hygiene
- Application of microbiome research in the local science and healthcare scene
What You'll Learn
Our microbiomes, the communities of microscopic organisms that live in and on us, shape our development from birth and play a pivotal role in both health and disease. Our microbiomes can be nurtured through everyday choices, including consumption of probiotics, prebiotics and antibiotics, and have a bearing on how gracefully we mature and age.
