Management Accounting & Finance (in MC in Sustainable Finance in Part-Time Diploma in Business Practice (Sustainability Management))

The aim of DBP(SM) is to equip working professionals from various sectors interested to work in sustainability-related job roles or deepening their knowledge in sustainability management, ESG reporting, sustainable finance and sustainable communications and engagement to support the growing demand in the green job functions.

What You'll Learn

This subject introduces key management accounting and finance concepts required by students to make sound business decisions. Students will also learn fundamental management accounting concepts in business planning, decision-making and cost control. Upon completion, students will become more effective decision makers and make informed business decisions.

Minimum Entry Requirement

• Minimum of 3 'O' Level passes and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• NITEC with GPA ≥ 3.5 OR GPA ≥ 3.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• Higher NITEC ≥ 2.0 OR GPA ≥ 1.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• NITEC in Services/Technology with GPA ≥ 3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience OR
• Higher NITEC in Services/Technology ≥ 2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• Relevant WSQ qualification with 1 year of relevant work experience and WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy SOA (Level 6) OR
• Without relevant academic qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
