At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Plan and implement safety programme, system and safe work procedure for construction activities in accordance with WHS Act, WSH (Construction) Regulations, and relevant
legislations
- Establish and implement WSH Management System in worksite in accordance with general principles and requirements of related WSH Regulations and Guidelines
What You'll Learn
The "Manage WSH in Construction Sites" course aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills in managing the worksite's safety and health management system and ensuring safety and health measures are put in place in construction activities.
Minimum Entry Requirement
The "Manage Construction Work for WSH" is a mandatory training course for all individuals who are assigned to manage any construction project exceeding $10m in contract value e.g. project managers, project directors, construction managers, project engineers.
Learners are assumed to have:
- Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 6
and above or equivalence
- Knowledge of the construction industry activities
Learners must be holding the position of Chairman of Safety Committee, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Superintendent or equivalent post to be eligible to attend this course.
