This course is designed to enhance supervising abilities in performing duties at Integrated Command Centre. Upon completion if the course, learners will be competent oh following work tasks:
- Real-time Monitoring: Surveillance of security feeds, alarms, and other indicators to detect incidents as they happen.
- Incident Response: Coordinating responses to security breaches, emergencies, or any suspicious activities.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing security data to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
- Communication Hub: Acting as a communication point between security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensuring that security protocols and policies are adhered to across the organization.
- Reporting and Documentation: Keeping detailed records of incidents, responses, and security audits for future analysis and compliance.
What You'll Learn
Learners will equip with knowledge and abilities on how to Supervise CCTV Surveillance Monitoring, Data Analysis and Reporting" of CCTV Security Surveillance.
They also will learn principles of supervising an alarm monitoring system which involves overseeing its operation to ensure optimal performance and rapid response to incidents.
Learners will enhance learning through active participation in case studies of actual premises and presentation of solutions. Competent with roles and responsibilities in supervising Integrated Command Centre daily security operations.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Entry Requirements. Learners must;
- Be able to read, write and speak English at WPL Level 4
- Be able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4
- Be able to act in a professional manner
- Be able to observe confidently
- Be vigilant at all times
Age
The minimum entry age shall be 21 years old at the time of application, and the maximum age shall be 65 years old.
Physical and Medical Requirement. Learners must certified by a medical doctor to be physically fit for work. Not be colour-blind or hearing impaired
Education Qualifications
The minimum entry educational qualification for learners shall be GCE 'O' Level, Polytechnic Diploma or their equivalent.
