The "Business Negotiation" Proficiency Level 4 is one of the Technical Skills and Competency (TSC) identified in the Skills Map for Manager who work on expanding current business portfolio, maintains relationships with existing and new buyers and sellers as well as manages a diverse group of stakeholders. The course aims to engage learners, primarily Business Development Manager, Senior Business Analyst/Senior Market Research Analyst/Senior Market Analyst, Sales Manager, Commodities Trading Manager/ Senior Commodities Trader, Derivatives Trading Manager/ Senior Derivatives Trader and Procurement Manager/Sourcing Manager, to identify new business ventures and establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance business performance.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Learners are Business Development Manager, Senior Business Analyst/Senior Market Research Analyst/Senior Market Analyst, Sales Manager, Commodities Trading Manager/ Senior Commodities Trader, Derivatives Trading Manager/ Senior Derivatives Trader and Procurement Manager/Sourcing Manager in wholesale trade sector. Learners for the programme are to submit a letter from Head of Human Resource Department of the respective organisations to certify that:
- GCE 'O' level Credit passed in English and Mathematics or Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) score: Level 6 for Reading, Listening and Numeracy
- Able to operate a personal desktop computer/ laptop.
- With at least 3 years supervisory/managerial working experience in wholesale trade or Professional /Managerial /Management Executive (PME) position in non-retail wholesale trade
- Preferably possess basic knowledge and skills in Business Studies, Sales, Marketing or Commerce.
