Healthcare Capacity and Healthcare Professionals (Part of SCTP)

This one-day workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Healthcare Capacity and the role of Healthcare Professionals. It is specifically tailored for individuals considering a career transition into the healthcare sector, with a focus on the unique context of Singapore.

This course is part of the 10-day workshop series of (SCTP) Certificate in Healthcare Administration.

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

• Describe on the common practice setting of a Healthcare professionals
• Identify the roles and responsibilities of different healthcare professionals
• Explain the emerging role of support care workers in healthcare settings
• Define and distinguish between practice models: multi-disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary practices in healthcare.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Individuals must meet all the requirements below in order to be eligible to apply for the programme:

• Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident or LTVP+ holder
• At least 21 years old
• Self-sponsored learners (either unemployed or in-employment individuals)
