Financial Management (in PDC in Management Accounting & Finance in Specialist Diploma in Accounting & Finance)

The course aims to:

• Provide candidates with a sound knowledge of accounting and finance in business organisations;
• Train candidates in the analysis and use of financial information;
• Equip candidates with the techniques for planning, managing and controlling financial resources;
• Impart problem-solving, thinking and research skills to candidates through article reviews, case studies and assignments.

What You'll Learn

This subject covers the role of finance and the financial manager, sources and allocation of funds within a business enterprise and the tools and techniques used by the financial manager in the management of funds and other financial resources. It also covers concepts related to valuation, international financial management and financial instruments such as shares, options and warrants.

Minimum Entry Requirement

At least a Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/Work-Learn Technical Diploma in Business OR University Degree in any discipline.

Applicants without the above minimum academic qualification but who holds a managerial position will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
