Effective Warehousing and Inventory Control

Upon completion of the course, the learners will be able to

• Apply the inventory cost and storage concept to support implementation of guidance materials for inventory and storage requirement standards
• Prepare delivery or collection documentation for inventory records to support inventory control checking of documents in warehouse environment
• Apply inventory checklists, cycle count and controls to support accurate inventory audit requirements
• Apply the pick and pack inventory documentation procedures under the warehouse operations to enhance and ensure proper monitoring and accurate tracking movement of goods

What You'll Learn

The aim of the course is to equip team leaders, executives or supervisors who are currently working or those intending to make a career switch to the logistics industry with knowledge and skills to coordinate general warehouse operations and activities including shipping and receiving deliveries, storing of inventory, stock checks and inventory controls, documenting warehouse transactions and records, and reporting in accordance to warehouse regulations

Minimum Entry Requirement

• Age 21 years or above and have at least 2 years of work experience in team leader or executive position.
• Able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 3 WPL (Comprehensive) and WPN.
