Bake Basic Cakes

• Prepare ingredients for basic cakes
• Apply proper techniques for mixing and folding of batters
• Bake cakes at a controlled time and temperature
• Evaluate baked cakes quality and characteristics
• Prepare fillings and decorate cakes as desired

What You'll Learn

The learners will learn to bake basic cakes including the preparation of fillings, sauces and creams.

Minimum Entry Requirement

● 18 years and above

● Possess minimally a Primary Level and/or listen, speak, read, and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 2

● Use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 2
