This 15-hour WSQ-accredited module, (ACEY/CCP) Demonstrate Understanding of the Centre's Vision, Mission and Values, is built for exactly that practice—translating stated principles into observable, everyday caregiving decisions. It targets Infant/Toddler Educarers and Beginning Educarers who are joining a childcare centre and need to align their actions with the organisation’s direction.
The course starts by breaking down what a vision, mission, and values statement actually mean in an early-childhood setting. You will learn to identify where these ideals show up in routine care, from how mealtimes are paced to how transitions between activities are handled. Rather than treating these statements as corporate filler, the module helps you see them as a practical filter for daily choices. Short, focused sessions alternate between explanation and group discussion, so the content stays grounded in real classroom scenarios.
By the end of the 15 hours, you should be able to explain the centre's direction to colleagues and families with clarity, and apply those values when responding to a child's needs or a parent's query. The training also covers how your own behaviour as an educarer reflects the organisation’s identity, and how consistent role-modelling builds trust with both children and parents.
