Post-Diploma Certificate in Advanced Concepts in Medical-Surgical Nursing (PDC3 of Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Medical-Surgical) aims to prepare the learners on the following:
- acquire knowledge and skills for effective multidisciplinary management of chronic diseases for adults in the primary, acute and intermediate long-term care (ILTC) settings.
- equip the learners with knowledge and skills through critical appraisal and synthesis of research evidence in a systematic approach.
- recognize, manage and evaluate complex medical-surgical problems associated with dysfunction of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, renal and urology systems in the adult population.
- recognize, manage and evaluate complex medical-surgical problems associated with dysfunction of endocrine, autoimmune and integumentary systems in adult population.

Minimum Entry Requirement
- Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
