Profile
Working in an in-house legal team poses new challenges to practicing lawyers. Instead of being an individual contributor, it is likely that one will have to work with other team members, including other lawyers, paralegals, Allied Legal Professionals, and also clients from other business units. This requires a change in mindset.
This course introduces junior legal professionals and other members of in-house legal teams to the reality of working in an in-house legal unit. The focus is on the soft skills need to function effectively in such an environment, including leaderships and management skills, process management, knowledge management, team dynamics, people development, and stakeholder management.
