The Post-Diploma Certificate in Practice of Nephro-Urology Nursing course will offer the following modules:

• Advanced Nephro-Urology Nursing Clinical Practice 1 (200 hours)
• Advanced Nephro-Urology Nursing Clinical Practice 2 (200 hours)

What You'll Learn

At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:

• Demonstrate theoretical understanding, critical analytic process and psychomotor skills according to the criteria specified in the competency assessment rubrics;
• Implement care plans for problems identified in clients with nephro-urology disorders and significant others using a systematic approach; and
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with clients, their significant others and members of the multidisciplinary by applying the concept of therapeutic communication strategies in an integrated multidisciplinary approach.

Minimum Entry Requirement

• Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
• Singapore Nursing Board registration;
• 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
