What You'll Learn
Higher order principles of sustainability, methods to improve the design process and techniques for sustainability are important factors to increase the energy efficiency of buildings. To do so, it is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of integrative design concept, process and techniques for optimised energy management and enhanced environmental performance.
Learners attending the course will be equipped with knowledge and skills to adopt an integrative design to optimise energy management and enhance the environmental performance of buildings.
This course is one of five electives that learners may select under the Singapore Certified Energy Manager professional level programme.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Learners are assumed to:
- Be knowledgeable of electrical engineering competencies
- Possess broad knowledge of renewable energy systems
- Possess a diploma (minimum entry requirement)
- Able to speak, listen, write, and read English with Numeracy skills at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills System i.e., Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4
- Possess at least 2 year working experience in engineering-related jobs
- Minimum age of 21 year old

Learners keen to join without the necessary pre-requisite knowledge and experience stated above may be assessed if they have other relevant experience to access the course, on a case-by-case basis.
