What You'll Learn
This course aims to equip learners with the knowledge on environmental issues such as climate changes, depletion of natural resources, rising sea levels and greenhouse gas emissions. Learners will also be introduced to the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework and the Paris Agreement & United Nations 2030 Agenda. In addition, they will be able to apply innovative green technologies, sustainable practices, and policy interventions to mitigate and minimise the effect of climate change on the organisation.
Minimum Entry Requirement
(a) Candidates should have a recognized university degree or polytechnic diploma in engineering or science, or other relevant disciplines.
(b) Candidates with degrees or diplomas in other (non-relevant) disciplines, who have relevant work experience (RWE), will be considered.
(c) For applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements may be considered based on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with evidence of at least 5 years of RWE; or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test(s).
