WSQ Implement Incident Management Processes

This course aims to cover the skills and knowledge required by the person in charge of a premise to implement the incident management process during an emergency incident. The course covers the approach, structure, tools, processes, communication methods that can be utilized during an emergency incident.

What You'll Learn

This course was developed to equip supervisory and managerial level workers in various workplaces to manage emergency incidents. This course will develop and certify Site Incident Managers to lead the Company Emergency Response Team in the workplace. The Implement Incident Management Processes (IIMP) course applies to all industries.

Minimum Entry Requirement

• Possess good knowledge in relevant organizational emergency response plans, procedures, policies, and processes
• Possess good knowledge in emergency response concepts
• Possess related training or work experience
• Be able to gather information and compile necessary data
• Possess basic knowledge in decision making processes and models
• Have communication skills using various methods and techniques
• Relevant work experience to the workplace they would like to be a part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT)
• Proficiency Level 4
• Self-directed learner
• Possess an open and analytical mind
