What You'll Learn
At the completion of the PDC, learners will be able to:
(1) Provide appropriate nursing care for clients with complex problems associated with the disorders of multiple systems and clients with chronic health conditions requiring long-term care using appropriate nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team;
(2) Demonstrate competence in essential clinical skills in medical-surgical settings following criteria specified in the competency assessment rubrics; and
(3) Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking in relation to client and clinical context.
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
- Singapore Nursing Board registration;
- 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
