What You'll Learn

At the end of the course, the participants will be able to gain knowledge on the following:

• The management of industrial wastes and air pollution emissions in the industry
• Concepts and requirements relating to the ISO:14001 Environmental Management System.
• Essential knowledge in workplace safety and health management system (WSHMS).

Minimum Entry Requirement

The admission requirement(s) is/are:

• A diploma from a local polytechnic or degree in engineering or science, or equivalent.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):

• Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on:

o Evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience; or

o Supporting evidence of competency readiness.

• Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test(s). The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
