- Assess and reflect on existing work culture and develop suitable exercises for their team members.
- Empower team members through constructive feedback.
- Make a conscious effort to affirm team members.
- Use humour appropriately through individual supervision sessions.

The social service sector is a demanding one. Social problems are getting more complex. New problems are emerging. Workload is increasing. Resources are stretched. Stress and turnover may be high. The pandemic has added to the heavy responsibilities in some organisations. In such circumstances, sometimes transformative human touch goes missing for both clients and staff. Genuine care, courageous action, meaningful change and innovation "“ all these need leaders who are the best version of themselves. While many leadership courses focus on the externals of leadership, fewer give leaders the skills to tend to their inner lives. This course will help leaders bring their whole human selves to their leadership and become stronger instruments of care and change.
