This diploma program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in the hospitality and tourism industry. It covers areas such Hospitality and Food and Beverage management, as well as equipping learners with skillsets in sustainability and digital transformation. Learners will also acquire skills in project management, customer journey mapping and analytics. Learners will be exposed to how technology works in the hospitality sector and will be able to choose options between hospitality business management or Human Resource Management. These will expose learners to areas in Revenue Management and understanding consumers, as well as managing the Human Resources component of the industry. The program is rounded off with a Capstone project to tie the learnings together.
What You'll Learn
this module introduces concepts of sustainable tourism development, its characteristics, and principles. It is structured to provide students with an understanding of the circular economy concept and how the industry is incorporating Sustainable Development goals into their business models and practices. It will also look at environmental sustainability management.
