What You'll Learn

The Podcast Production module is a course designed to integrate the craft of podcasting with advanced artificial intelligence technologies. Students will learn the fundamentals of podcast production from concept development to distribution, while employing AI tools for voice synthesis, automated editing, and analytics. The course aims to teach students how to create engaging, data-driven podcast content using AI to enhance audio quality, content generation, and audience personalization. Teaching methods include lectures and hands-on workshops with the understanding of ethical AI use in media.

Minimum Entry Requirement

• 3 GCE 'O' level with English language (grade 1-7), Mathematics (grade 1-6) and 1 relevant subject (grade 1-6) and 3 years of relevant working experience
• NITEC/ NITEC in Technology/ Services (GPA 3.5 and above) and and 2 years of relevant working experience
• Higher NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Technology/ Services and 1 year of relevant working experience
• Relevant WSQ Diploma + Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 6 and and 3 years of relevant working experience
• For applicants who do not meet the MER, the polytechnics will consider discretionary entry based on the structured process for discretionary entry to CET diploma programmes
