Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti

In 2009, the decision to establish Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) was driven by a clear mission: to create a private institution that would offer a disciplined, quality-oriented alternative in Nigeria’s higher education landscape. Founded by Chief Afe Babalola, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, the university set out to combine rigorous academics with strong character formation, and it has since grown into one of the country’s most recognised private universities, fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
